For our initial film poster we decided to just put the main girl as the star as most film covers do just have the main actor or actress. We decided to copy a Total Film title as it was easy and would be easily recogniseable. As the film title was red we thought we should keep the rest of the font in the same colour scheme.
After feedback from our class they said that they thought the cover looked a little bit more like a fashion magazine so we decided to take a more natural and fun looking photo.
We also decided to change the colour scheme because the red colour scheme doesn't really match the rom-com genre, so we will make it more pink and brighter.
Even though we are going to change almost everything about our film it was a good starting point so that we can find out what the audience want and what they expect.
